Genesis 27-30 Reflection Questions
Happy Friday, friends. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Take a moment to consider the infinite love that God has for you.
When have you seen or experienced senses giving way to desire? What does a life of self-control and walking by faith look like? How can you practice walking by faith?
Bitterness can give way to malice, spite, and rage. What does it look like to allow God to heal the places of bitterness and turn them into sweet reminders of his faithfulness?
What goes around, sometimes comes around. If we sometimes reap what we sow, what are the types of seeds you want to plant? What would a harvest of goodness, love, and justice look like practically? How do we plant those types of seeds?
Jesus’ example on the cross invites us to follow him as people who end cycles of violence and retaliation. When is it hardest to let the wrongs of others go? How can you respond to hate, manipulation, and deception with love, clarity, and truth? What would the world look like if all of God’s people returned hate with love and evil with good?
If nobody has told you today that they love you, I do. But, more importantly, God does.
